With two Einstein™ E640 flash units, you’ll have a huge range of power to shoot a multitude of subjects. You’ll have the fast flash durations for action work and consistent color output for your color critical work with accuracy and repeatability within 0.10 f-stop shot after shot. With a CyberSync™ CSXCV transceiver in each unit, you can control and display the flash power, modeling lamp brightness, flash duration, color temperature and more with the Cyber Commander™ remote in your hand, using the CST2 Trigger Transmitter on the camera for wireless firing. For complete flexibility with different subjects and environments, the package includes versatile light modifiers - the OMNI™ 18-inch Reflector and the highly efficient Soft Silver PLM™ umbrella.
And of course, the ultimate need for a traveling setup is reliable power. Be ready for indoor and outdoor venues anywhere in the world by bringing your own power with a Vagabond™ Lithium Extreme system, recharging in just 3 hours between shoots on any domestic or international powerline. This package also includes carrying bags for your light stands, Einstein™ units, and VLX™ system, making the setup perfectly portable.
Travel Tips: The VLX™ system is approved for airline travel as carry on luggage – be sure to download and print the provided travel documents to take with you to the airport. The VLX™ can travel safely as a carry-on bag in the VLXBAG included in this package. If you will be flying with your flash units and other accessories as checked luggage, the soft-sided carrying bags in this package should not be used. You will need to find a case with appropriate padding, designed for airline use – check out Pelican Cases.
Anything else I need? It’s never a bad idea to travel with backups. You could add a spare flashtube for your Einstein™ units and/or add a second spare battery for longer shoots. If you’re looking for a bag for the OMNI™ Reflector, it can be carried in our 22-inch Reflector Bag.
