The honeycomb grid for the 10ABR/R ring reflector snaps directly into the recessed outer lip on the reflector, taking the 80° beam spread on the reflector down to 20°. The grid features a banded center hole that allows for traditional, aim-through ringflash use.

When mounting the grid, leaving the paper tab (with the beam width size label) sticking out allows you to use the tab to pull the grid out of the reflector when you are ready to remove it.

Our ringflash honeycomb grid is designed for use with the 10ABR/R ring reflector that arrives with both the AlienBees™ ABR800 Ringflash and the retired Zeus™ ZRM1 Ringmaster head. It may not be used with any other reflector.

When using the ringflash grid, you can simultaneously use the ringflash diffuser or remove it. If desired, you can simultaneously use the ringflash gels/filters with the grid as well.
