The 10ABR/R Ring Reflector is wide-angle, flat field reflector. Measuring 10 inches in diameter, the reflector has an 80° beam spread that provides even coverage with the widest of lens angles. Additionally, the reflector is designed to hold our accessory 20° Honeycomb Grid (sold separately) for "Hollywood Style" lighting and for other low-key effects.

Note: It is not necessary to purchase this reflector when purchasing a new AlienBees™ ABR800 Ringflash. This reflector is already included with these units.

Flash Units: The 10ABR/R is designed for use with the AlienBees™ ABR800 Ringflash unit or the ZRM1 Zeus™ Ringmaster head. It is not compatible with standard Paul C. Buff™ flash units, including the DigiBee (DB400 and DB800) flash units, AlienBees™ (B400, B800 and B1600) flash units, White Lightning™ X-Series™ flash units, Zeus™ Z2500SH or Z2500BTH flash heads and Einstein™ E640 flash unit. Note: It is not necessary to purchase this reflector when purchasing a new AlienBees™ ABR800 Ringflash. This reflector is already included with this unit.

Honeycomb Grids: The ABRHG20 20° honeycomb grid may be used with the 10ABR/R, snapping inside the reflector’s recessed outer lip. This grid includes a center hole for traditional, aim-through ringflash use.

Gels and Filters: The ABRW/DF6 set of warming and diffusion filters may be used with the AlienBees™ ABR800 Ringflash and Zeus™ ZRM1 ringflash head, used with ringflash diffuser and with or without the 10ABR/R reflector. These filters include cut center holes for traditional, aim-through ringflash use.
