LS3900 and TS13AC: The LS3900 and TS13AC are heavy-duty light stands that are suitable for holding all Paul C. Buff™ flash units with all of our accessories (including the PLM™ system, softboxes and octaboxes, etc.). When using heavier accessories, it is best to maximize the footprint of the stand for balance and stability. You may wish to add sandbags or some other form of weight to the base of the stand for additional support with large accessories, especially when using these accessories outdoors.
Using Our Light Stands With Flash Units From Other Manufacturers: We cannot make claims regarding the suitability of our light stands when used with various flash units from other manufacturers. As the connection is a standard 1/4-20 stud, the stands are designed to fit flash units with stand mounts measuring up to 5/8-inch. If you wish to attach a flash unit and/or accessories made by another manufacturer, ensure that the total weight held is under the limit for the chosen stand.
Using Light Stand Accessories From Other Manufacturers: We cannot make claims regarding the suitability of various accessories (such as casters, boom arm attachments, etc.) from other manufacturers. If you wish to attach light stand accessories made by another manufacturer, ensure that the total weight held is under the limit for the chosen stand. Do not attach heavy boom arms and counterweights to the top section or spigot of any stand.
