The LS3050 is an excellent general use 10-foot, 4-section light stand, with a 39-inch maximum footprint. This stand will hold any Paul C. Buff™ unit with lighter weight accessories such as umbrellas and the LiteMod™ system (this stand is not recommended for softbox or octabox use). The stand weighs a total of 4 pounds, and will hold up to 10 pounds, collapsing to 32.5 inches for travel.

LS3050: The LS3050 is suitable for holding all Paul C. Buff™ flash units with lighter weight to medium weight accessories such as grids, gels, reflectors, the smallest PLM™ umbrellas (51”), and other small to medium umbrellas. As the stand is lighter weight, it is not suitable for large and/or heavy accessories (such as softboxes, the larger PLM™ umbrellas, other large umbrellas, etc.).

Using Our Light Stands With Flash Units From Other Manufacturers: We cannot make claims regarding the suitability of our light stands when used with various flash units from other manufacturers. As the connection is a standard 1/4-20 stud, the stands are designed to fit flash units with stand mounts measuring up to 5/8-inch. If you wish to attach a flash unit and/or accessories made by another manufacturer, ensure that the total weight held is under the limit for the chosen stand.

Using Light Stand Accessories From Other Manufacturers: We cannot make claims regarding the suitability of various accessories (such as casters, boom arm attachments, etc.) from other manufacturers. If you wish to attach light stand accessories made by another manufacturer, ensure that the total weight held is under the limit for the chosen stand. Do not attach heavy boom arms and counterweights to the top section or spigot of any stand.
