Our honeycomb grids for the 8.5HOR 8.5-inch High Output Reflector are available in two sizes, taking the 45º beam spread on the 8.5-inch reflector down to 15º (8.5HG15) or 30º (8.5HG30).

A single grid snaps directly into the recessed outer lip on the reflector. When mounting the grid, leaving the tab (with the beam width size label) sticking out allows you to use the tab to pull the grid out of the reflector when you are ready to remove it.

Our 8.5-inch honeycomb grids are designed for use with the 8.5HOR 8.5-inch High Output Reflector. They may not be used with any other reflector.

When a grid is in use, the umbrella hole is blocked and umbrellas, therefore, may not be used simultaneously.
