The 7UR 7-inch Umbrella Reflector fits around the flashtube and modeling lamp on the front faceplate of all standard Paul C. Buff™ flash units. The wide-angle reflector directs all of the light directly out front, blocking any undesired side spill. The reflector additionally has an umbrella hole for use with our PLM™ umbrellas and various brands of umbrellas and brolly boxes. When used with umbrellas, the reflector directs all light into the umbrella, eliminating side spill. The 7UR measures 2 inches deep and 7 inches in diameter.

Flash Units: The 7UR fits around the flashtube and modeling lamp on the front faceplate of all standard Paul C. Buff™ flash units, including the DigiBee (DB400 and DB800) flash units, AlienBees™ (B400, B800 and B1600) flash units, White Lightning™ X-Series flash units, retired Zeus™ Z2500SH or Z2500BTH flash heads and Einstein™ E640 flash unit. It is not compatible with the AlienBees™ ABR800 Ringflash unit or the retired ZRM1 Zeus™ Ringmaster head.

PLM™ and Umbrellas: The 7UR has an umbrella hole for use with various brands of umbrellas and with our 8mm models of the PLM™ system. With our speedring mounted PLM™ models, the reflector can only used when the 7mm umbrella shaft is in place.

Gels and Filters: Our 8-inch x 10-inch color gels and light modifying filters (CF6, CF20, WF6, UV6, DF6 and ND6) can be used with the reflector, clipped to the reflector using our small nylon clips, bulldog clips, or other similar clips. Note: When using gels or filters with the 7UR, the modeling lamp must be removed.
