The 13ACLS is a 13-foot maximum height, 4-section light stand, with a 46.5-inch maximum footprint. This heavy duty, air-cushioned stand is suitable to hold all Paul C. Buff™ lights, including heavy accessories such as softboxes and octaboxes. The stand weighs a total of 6 pounds, and collapses to 45.25 inches for travel.

Flash units are mounted with universal top or side mounted 5/8” brass stud with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ends.

13ACLS: The 13ACLS heavy-duty light stand is suitable for holding all Paul C. Buff™ flash units with all of our accessories (including the PLM™ system, softboxes and octaboxes, etc.). When using heavier accessories, it is best to maximize the footprint of the stand for balance and stability. You may wish to add sandbags or some other form of weight to the base of the stand for additional support with large accessories, especially when using these accessories outdoors.

Using Our Light Stands With Flash Units From Other Manufacturers: We cannot make claims regarding the suitability of our light stands when used with various flash units from other manufacturers. As the connection is a top or side mounted 5/8” brass stud with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ends, the stands are designed to fit flash units with stand mounts measuring up to 5/8-inch.

Using Light Stand Accessories From Other Manufacturers: We cannot make claims regarding the suitability of various accessories (such as casters, boom arm attachments, etc.) from other manufacturers. Do not attach heavy boom arms and counterweights to the top section or spigot of any stand.
